Review:
You don't see a lot of good, solid OFCs in Supernatural fandom, and it's a damn shame, when you see a character like
bellatemple's Jenna. She's smart, spunky, and yet doesn't come off as a Mary-Sue. She has a rich, exciting life without ever getting sucked into the world of monsters (though she does encounter it in the end). I loved her and Dean's friendship, how she obviously had her own goals in life, and the fact that she is the kind of fangirl character I needed to see after Becky made her debut in Sympathy for the Devil (5.01). Dean's characterization as well was spot on, from his childhood to when he assumes the mantle of hunter. Overall, this an interesting, well-spun story that brings a little happiness to the normally dour S5 canon.
