This is a fascinating concept, and I think that
liketheriverrun pulls it off well. The use of clones in fic can go off in many different directions (most of which end in orgies), and I think the author handled it deftly. I liked how she explores the nature/nurture in each of Rodney and John’s personas, and how, even as clones, they are in fact separate entities from the originals. I also loved the setting, which combines two of my all-time favorite slash tropes, “amnesia” and “trapped in a room together”. The clones are waiting for their “patrons” to come pick them up on an abandoned cloning facility, which Sheppard had accidentally activated. All in all, this is a weird, intricate sci-fi concept that I would be remiss not to rec.
